  英国和美国对楼层有不同的说法。英国楼房的一层称作 the ground floor（底楼），the first floor 指第二层；美国没有 the ground floor，the first floor 就是第一层。所以 on the second floor 英国指 “在三楼”，美国则指 “在二楼”。
