一、当主句的谓语动词的hope,agree,wish,choose,decide,promise等后带宾语从句且主从句主语相同时可以简化成一定式结构作宾语。例如1.Wehopethatweshallseeyousoon.Wehopetoseeyousoon.2.SheagreedthatshewouldhelpmewithmyEnglish.SheagreedtohelpmewithmyEnglish.二、当主句谓语动词的know,learn,forget,remember等词时后面带的宾语从句可简化成“疑问词+不定式”结构此时主从句也须一致。例如1.Ireallydon’tknowwhatIshoulddonext.Ireallydon’tknowwhattodonext.2.Shedidn’tknowwhethersheshouldgoornot.Shedidn’tknowwhethertogoornot.3.IhaveforgottenhowIcanopenthedoor.Ihaveforgottenhowtoopenthedoor.三、当主句谓语动词是ask,tell,show,teach,want,等后面带双宾语且从句主语和间接宾语一致时宾语从句可转化成“疑问词+不定式”结构。例如1.CouldyoutellmehowIcangettothepostoffice?Couldyoutellmehowtogettothepostoffice?2.PleasetellmewhereIcanfindhim.Pleasetellmewheretofindhim.但是如果间接宾语和从句的主语不一致一般不要把宾语从句简化否则会产生歧义。例如Hedidn’ttellmewherehewouldgo.Hedidn’ttellmewheretogo.简化的句子涵义可能有以下两种“他没有告诉我他将去什么地方。”或“他没有告诉我将去什么地方。”四、当主句的谓语动词是order(命令),require需要等时如果主句和从句的主语不一致宾语从句可转化成“名词代词+不定式”结构。例如Theheadmasterorderedthatweshouldstartatonce.Theheadmasterorderedustostartatonce.
